Hamilton Residence

Located in Crescent Park, the Hamilton residence used to be the family home of renowed dental surgeon Dr. Charles William, as well as the gathering venue of the 54 political clubs and societies he belonged to. He was notably the president of the Masonic Temple Association and founder of the Republican State Club. The foundation of the original single story home was constructed in the shape of the Masonic symbol.

An interior dome showered by natural light was originally supported by the tapered columns along the center of the meeting library. The addition of the new second story was accomplished by strategically replacing the dome with a dormer at the front entry. A matching side dormer is added to the side of the building for the exterior stairwell. To create outdoor access for the Master’s suite, a balcony with trellis is added to the rear of the second story, which is supported by the columns of a new sizeable rear porch adjoining the Kitchen/ Family Room.

The Hamilton property also boasts a detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) and a detached two-car Garage, situated at the rear of the property with lush and lovely landscape.
